The Trenton training facility is a 7000 square foot building with 2000 square feet of additional training are on the second level for a total of 9000 square feet.

Located at Carpenters Locals 31 and 781 headquarters on Ryan Avenue in Hamilton Township. The training center, built in 1986, replaced the facility Local 31 had been renting since the institution of PETS training in 1982. The Trenton Center was the first training center in New Jersey to implement the Performance Evaluated Training System (PETS), created by the Apprenticeship and Training Department of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Along with the structured training program for Carpenter Apprentices the center also offers skill enhancement training for Journey Level Carpenters in all phases of the carpentry trade. The training facility is committed to offer the latest state of the art training technology to all of its Apprentices and Journey Level Carpenters and continues to pursue the expansion of training to meet the needs of the construction industry.

The building is dedicated to William J. Neylan Sr. who was Business Representative of Local 31 for 15 years and Sam F. Secretario who has been the Director of the Local 31 training program since 1968. Sam Secretario, Training Director stated that "Tom Canto, Assistant Executive Secretary Treasurer of the New Jersey Regional Council and member and Past Business Manager for Local 31, was instrumental in the institution of PETS training in Local #31 and the eventual construction of a building to house that program. The results of the decision to institute PETS training are evident in the quality of the carpenters we have turned out since that decision was made." On the consolidation of the training funds Sam Secretario said "he is working with the other directors to share their knowledge and experience and help create continuity within the New Jersey Carpenters Training Programs."
