Course Number: IF301
Course Description: This course presents installation procedures for solid materials. The focus will be on the special features of solid surface material, such as high strength seams, cutting, sanding thick edges, finishing, repairing and installation. Participants completing the course will receive a IBC "Certified Solid Surface Installer" card, recognized by manufacturers of Avonite, Corian, Gibralter, and Surell.
Prerequisites: Individual must demonstrate proficiency with counter layout and construction and the power hand tools such as the router and sander.
Course Length: 12 hours. 1 - 4 hour night and 1 - 8 hour Saturday.
